As their faith blossoms we have something for everyone, “early” and “late” bloomers.

Children’s Special Events

Our children will present two programs, one this fall and a Christmas Pageant. Both programs will utilize the Children’s Bell Choir and the Vocal Choir. If your child is not involved with either of these activities and would still like to take part in the programs, there are additional opportunities such as, play a musical instrument, be a greeter or an usher, light the candles and, for the artist among us, design the cover for our bulletins. Just contact Joyce Gregor, Children’s Ministry Coordinator soon. We are planning those events now. (275-6081)

October 11, Children’s Sabbath Sunday at  10 AM. Rehearsals for the Pageant will be held October 2 and October 10.                                                                                                             The children and youth of our church will provide the worship service of Prayer, Praise and Hope.  This year’s theme, Create Change for Children Today: Bring Hope and A Better Tomorrow. Rhonda Brow will be assisting with the coordination of Sabbath Sunday. We know that children in our nation and children of the world desperately need change today. We must step forward to strengthen families and create safe pathways for children to reach their God gifted potential. “Creating change for children today brings hope and a better tomorrow for all of us. It realizes the mission of Jesus Christ.” (Children’s Defense Fund)

December 13, Children’s Christmas Pageant, 10 AM worship. Rehearsals for the Pageant will be held December 5, 9:30 AM to 11 AM. December 12th. 1 PM to 3 PM

                                                                                                       Children's Special Mission Projects:

We support "Operation Christmas Child" by wrapping and filling over 100 shoe boxes for this ministry.

"Haiti Heart Pals"  Our Mission to the Haiti children and is a part of  our Second Mile Giving. It provides an opportunity for our children to become directly involved with individual children in Haiti. During Children’s Church each child will be given one or two gallon Zip-lock plastic bags. We will put their name on it and ask that the child bring a picture of themselves for each bag they are sending. Then we are encouraging the child to use their own spending money to fill the bag with items or give almost new items they have at home that they wish to share. Steve Quakenbush will take pictures of the children receiving each Christmas gift pack so that each child will be able to have a picture of those who received their package.

In addition, our Children's Sunday School collection, this year, will be given to the children needs at Blue Gape Indian Reservation. It is our desire that the children learn to be the hands and feet of Jesus.
